Grass Cutting in Derby
The lawn's the biggest thing in the garden and the first to make the place look scruffy. I cut lawns across Derby: regular fortnightly rounds through the season, or one-off rescues when it's got away from you. Edges done, clippings taken, gate shut behind me.
Free, fixed quote: every grass cutting job is priced individually, so there's no one-size-fits-all figure. You get one fixed price in writing before any work starts, and that's the price you pay.

Two Ways to Book

Regular Fortnightly Cuts
I come every two weeks from March to October, cut, strim the edges and take the clippings. You never think about the lawn again; it just stays done.
- Same day each fortnight, reliability you can set your watch by
- Cheaper per visit than one-off cuts
- Text the day before so you know I'm coming
- No contract: pause or stop any time
One-off
Tidy-Ups & Rescues
Lawn got away from you? Been away, moved in, or just fallen behind? A one-off cut gets it back to tidy, done in stages if it's really long, so the grass recovers properly.
- Long grass taken down in stages, not scalped
- Edges, borders and around obstacles strimmed
- All clippings and waste taken away
- Easy to switch to regular cuts afterwards
What You Get Every Visit
A proper cut: sharp blades, right height for the season. Never scalped to the dirt.
Edges strimmed: along borders, paths, sheds, fences and trees. The detail that makes it look finished.
Paths blown clear: no clippings left on your paving or driveway.
Waste taken away, or left for your compost if you prefer.
Gates shut: dog owners, I check the gate behind me, every time.
Make It a Full Garden Visit
Most regular customers bundle the lawn with hedges a couple of times a year and weeding when it needs it. One visit, one price, whole garden done. And when the patio or driveway wants a blast, that's the same phone call too.

Questions About Grass Cutting
How often should my lawn be cut?
Fortnightly through the growing season (March to October) keeps most lawns tidy and healthy. In a fast-growing spring, weekly is better for formal lawns. Little and often is always kinder to the grass than scalping it once a month.
Do you take the grass away?
Yes, clippings are boxed, bagged and taken away with me. If you'd rather keep them for your compost heap, just say.
My lawn's got really long. Can you rescue it?
That's a regular job for me, especially spring and after holidays. Long grass gets cut in stages over a visit or two rather than scalped in one go, which is much kinder to the lawn. It'll look tidy after the first visit and proper within a couple.
Do you do the edges?
Every time. Edges are strimmed along borders, paths, fences and around trees. A lawn with clean edges looks twice as good for the same effort.
