I'm INSERT_OWNER_NAME, the man who'll actually turn up and do the work. No call centre, no subcontractors, no franchise. Just me, professional equipment, and a standard I hold every job to: I treat your house like it's my own.

Why I Do It This Way

I started MDpressure Washing because I kept seeing the same thing around Derby: driveways "cleaned" with stripes left in them, hedges hacked at the top and brown by August, and customers charged for a job that needed redoing within months. The trade has a corner-cutting problem, and I wanted no part of it.

So the rules are simple. I quote a fixed price and stick to it. I use proper kit: a petrol-powered washer with a rotary surface cleaner, not a DIY machine. I pre-treat the black spot and algae so the clean lasts. I re-sand block paving as standard. And I take every bag of waste away with me.

Most of my work comes from recommendations now, neighbours talking over the fence in Spondon, Chaddesden, Oakwood and Mickleover. That's only possible if every single job is one I'd be happy with at my own house.

Far more water flow than an electric DIY machine. It's the flow that rinses dirt away, not just pressure. And it doesn't need your electricity.

Sharp, well-maintained blades that cut cleanly. Torn hedge growth goes brown, clean cuts stay green. Long-reach trimmer for tall hedges, no wobbling on ladders.

Rotary Mower & Strimmer

A properly serviced mower with sharp blades; torn grass tips go yellow. Strimmer for the edges the mower can't reach.

Kiln-Dried Sand & Sealers

Proper kiln-dried jointing sand carried on the van for every block paving job, plus sealers for drives and patios that want the extra protection.

Fully Insured

Public liability insurance on every job, commercial or domestic. Proof available before any work starts; just ask.

The No-Deposit Guarantee

You never pay up front. Work's finished, you walk round it with me, and only when you're happy do you pay. If something's not right, I put it right.

Why I Don't Clean Roofs

Roof work needs scaffolding or specialist access gear and it's a different trade. I'd rather be properly good at ground-level cleaning and gardens than average at everything.
